I think this is a good deal without all the details of your league structure and your team. I am guessing you need a D guy - Richards is to my mind an upgrade over Briere skill wise but I think situationally Briere may do better fantasy wise than Brad.

I guess I wouldn\'t have too many reservations about making that move. I always wonder a bit when it is an off-balanced trade what other opportunities you might have.

Shoeless and I seem to agree on a lot and that\'s not going to change here. Normally I\'d say you could probably push for a little more but Richards should be within 10 points of Briere and you\'re getting a 21 year old 40 point 100 pim D-man in Mr. Meszaros and those numbers should improve. Pull the trigger it shouldnt hurt you any.

i\'d take the deal with mesz too.

You\'re not losing any age in richards, and mesz is one of the better young defenders on a great team.

Richards may actually do better this year too since TB brought in Oullett from pittsburgh to help him get some points.
