Default Redden for Naslund/Corvo

Keeper league. I would then keep D.Brown or B.Rolston in replace of Naslund. My real question is, Is Redden worth it? Point projection? Long-term value?

I know Redden had a pretty horrible last season, but will he be able to bounce back? DOes he still man the 1st PP unit?

Do it, Redden will get better, he\'s healthy this year and his numbers will rebound. Long term he\'ll be better than Corvo. Furthermore, you\'re getting the better forward as well by replacing Naslund.

I\'m glad you mentioned keeping Brown in Naslund\'s place. That makes it pretty simple - I\'d also have kept Brown anyway (note: my omission of Rolston is intentional).

Bottom line, that essentially makes it Corvo for Redden straight up -- a clear win for you (in my opinion).

Go for it.

This is a very clear case of - \"oh yeah baby - you want to do this deal!\"

update on this deal

I give: Naslund/Corvo/Brown
I get: Redden (maybe Rolston)

Here the scenario,

I was not keeping Brown to begin with so his inclusion on this deal doesn\'t really matter. I would then replace Naslund with Guerin. So essentially I would be keeping Redden/Guerin instead of Corvo/Naslund.

Should I even bother asking for Rolston? I think Guerin has a good chance of putting up 55-60 points and 60+ PIM. Also, I think he is a candidate for getting hot early in the season so I could trade him off then.

I personally would like Rolston but I would do this deal as it stands.

COmments?

really? I would prefer the combo of Redden/Rolston or Brown over Corvo/Naslund.

I am either trying to sway the other manager in one of these two deals:

I give: Naslund/Corvo/Erat
I get: Redden

Then I would keep Redden/Brown instead of Naslund/Corvo

OR

I give: Naslund/Corvo/Brown
I get: Redden/Rolston

then I would keep Redden/Rolston over Naslund/Corvo

Essentially, the 3rd player I trade is a player I would have just released back into the FA pool, thus getting nothing for that player.

UPDATE::

The 2nd trade of Naslund/Corvo/Erat for Redden has been accepted. This now allows me to keep Brown as a RW which I am pleased with.

Shop around a little. I think you can do better. Corvo should put up 40+ points this year. Redden will bounce back, but there will not be that big aof a difference between them. I would only make this deal for a Whitney/Gonchar/Neidermeyer type.
