Default Savard/Getzlaf/D. Sedin

Through my upcoming draft I am looking to build a team that could be a powerhouse in 1-2 years. (I\'m willing to sacrifice a bit this year for the sake of the future.) That being the case, I\'m wondering how you would rank Marc Savard, Daniel Sedin and Ryan Getzlaf. We count G, A, PPG, PPA, SHG, SHA, GWG, PIM, +/-, SOG and Faceoff Wins. Savard would be the choice this year, but I\'m leaning towards the other two being stronger in a couple years, as Bergeron/Kessel will start to take over in Boston. Or maybe I should take Savard and try to trade him before he starts to slip. Your thoughts? Thanks.

2006-07 Stats

Getzlaf
G - 25
A - 33
PPG - 11
PPA - 20
SHG - 1
SHA - 0
GWG - 6
PIM - 66
+/- - +17
SOG - 203
FOW - 49.4%

Savard
G - 22
A - 74
PPG - 10
PPA - 39
SHG - 1
SHA - 0
GWG - 3
PIM - 96
+/- - -19
SOG - 221
FOW - 50.1%

D. Sedin
G - 36
A - 48
PPG - 16
PPA - 18
SHG - 0
SHA - 0
GWG - 8
PIM - 36
+/- - +19
SOG - 236
FOW - 22.7%

Summary:

Goals - D. Sedin is your man here, but I think Getzlaf will challenge Sedin\'s total in the next year or two.

Assists - Savard is the man here. No challenge.

Power Play Goals - Sedin has a little edge here over Getzlaf but as Getzlaf goal total increases so will his PPG total.

Power Play Assists - Savard, Getzlaf, Sedin...in that order.

Short Handed Goals - Getzlaf will be the best bet here as his responsibilities increase.

Short Handed Assists - this category shouldn\'t sway your decision.

Game Winning Goals - See Goals and Power Play goals.

PIM - Surprisingly (to some), Savard is the leader here, but I think Getzlaf will close this gap considerably as he becomes more of a force.

+/- - Getzlaf and Sedin are miles ahead of Savard here.

Shots on Goal - the difference here is insignificant.

Face-offs won - I could only find % but it seems like this category is between Getzlaf and Savard as D. Sedin is a winger.

Getzlaf is my pick!

3 talented guys - but my money too goes on Getzlaf - big and strong and skilled - the future for the Ducks - hard not to like this guy and where he is going to be in the next couple of years.

since we\'re on the getzlaf topic do you think alffredson for getzlaf and a mid round pick is too much.i have getz and i\'m in a pool where we protect six each year.was made this offer and flipped it , why not, his alffie + pic for my getz.mind you alf would probably help me with a shot at winning this year , although getz could help me win a couple of year soon.
