Hey,
I am in a keeper league (full keeper, straight points only) and we are having an expansion draft where I can protect 10 players. I would appreciate a little advice for my last 2 keepers: Brind\'Amour, Horcoff, Recchi, Vyborny, Ouellet - which 2 should I protect? |

Hey welcome Capn Jimmy
I think Horcoff and Vyborny make reasonable choices. Rex and Brindie may still have something left in the tank but the teeth are getting awfully long. Omlette couldn\'t get it done with the Kid so what is he likely to achieve?

There are no great prospects in that list of players, so Id go with the 2 best players. Id say Brind\'Amour and maybe Ouellet, he should fair well in TB, is younger, and could breakout.

It depends if you intend to contend for the first place. If so it\'s a no brainer : Brind\'Amour and Recchi.
If you prefer to build for the near future it gets harder to decide. Recchi and Brind\'Amour are getting rather old. They may keep their production level for another season or two though. Still I\'d say Horcoff and Vyborny because they\'re younger and will give you a steady 60pts, close enough to what Recchi and Brind\'Amour will give you. |

I am probably in a rebuilding phase, but if Recchi and Brind\'Amour can put up points they are good trade value. The big question is will Horcoff ever live up to his potential, and is Oulette for real? With Vyborny, you know what you are getting.

I would keep Horcroff and Recchi. Horcroff because of Edmonton\'s lack of 1st line players - making him one by default, and Recchi because he will playing most of the season with Crosby, and you could trade him when he gets on the line and starts scoring.

I\'d say Brindamour and Vyborny. They both had very good years on non play off teams. While I think Columbus will stay the same Carolina will be better and so will brindamour with that. Recchi is good as long as he plays with Crosby, after that it\'s all about crossing the fingers.

Brind\'Amour and Horcoff for me. I think you keep a mix of old and young. Rod had a great year last year and should have 2-3 more 70pts year. Horcoff should be able to get 60-70 pts next year.

A lot of it depends on your current roster, but I\'d say Ouellet (high risk/reward) and Rechhi (the Crosby, Malkin, Stall, Whitney factor).
