Default Robbie Schremp

What are your thoughts on this guy? Is he going to make the club this year?

It is my pick right now in my keeper points only pool, and I have to decide from Schremp, HArtnell or Higgins. What do u guys think?

Right now I am leaning towards Higgins...

take hartnell, especially if you cant pims. he has the potential to drastically improve his numbers, playing with carter and lupul on philly\'s second line. He\'s also a great way to pick up pims without sacrificing much in the way of points.

If PIMs count, Hartnell is a no-brainer for sure.

I\'m not confident in Schremp. TONs of talent though. He may need one more year in the AHL

I could sit on Schremp for this season or deal him later on this year...PIM dont count in our league.

I\'d take Schremp then, he\'s hugely talented and has a large upside. He has a history of alienating people, and a bad rep as a result, if he doesnt piss off too many people and shows a modicum of defensive responsibility he should have a good career.

I\'ve heard all the knocks on Schremp but I\'m going to hang on to him until he has a chance to play some time with Hemsky before I drop him. He\'s got great hands and some touch around the net so I\'d love to see what he could do working with a passer like Hemsky.

Higgins is solid and will be more productive in the upcoming year but he\'s nothing special and there are plenty of productive players in his scoring range. Schremp hints of something more special. My only concern is that he has yet to make the team. Edmonton has a precedence of letting younger guys getting minutes yet there he sits with his injuries and defensive liabilities. Risk/Reward ratio is high. If you do not need the immediate help hang onto him a bit longer.

Don\'t count on Schremp playing with Hemsky this year. He may see some powerplay time but it\'s likely he\'ll start the year in the A and when/if he is brought up MacT won\'t use him on the top line. Now if MacT isn\'t around after game 20.....

Yah, he\'s a couple years away for sure before he gets first line minutes. I have him as a prospect though and there\'s no time limit to activate him so I\'ll hang on to him.
