A stanley cup hangover,it seems to happen to all the cup finalists the next year.
I dont want to put spezza and heatly or pronger for that reason, but they are such explosive players,im afraid to leave them off as well. can a player who wins a cup, then gets moved in the off season still have a cup hangover? (aka..penner) also,i shout out to dobber, what an awesome fantasy guide! i love it! thxz! |

Thanks - welcome to the site man!
I don\'t really believe in Cup hangovers...sometimes they happen, but I think it\'s the exception more than the rule.

How can I top dobber here really.... He\'s right, the expectations are just so much higher and they are usually not lived up to, the canes last year. But with Penner its the expectation Edmonton fans and the team has in him, way way to high for Penner to live up to. Plus the 4.25 million$ contract, it wont be a great year for him but I wouldnt call it a stanley cup curse at all.
