Default Protection list help needed !!

I am in a 12 team salary cap perpetual league. My current protection list is

LW D. Sedin, Wolski
C Backstrom, Mueller
RW Hossa, Alfredsson
D Eric Johnson
G Emery, Toskala

Which of the following packages is best to add to my protection list.
1) Sakic, Lombardi, O\'Sullivan

2) Langkow and Thomas Kaberle

3) Legwand, O\'Sullivan and Thomas Kaberle

4) Connolly, O\'Sullivan, Kaberle

5) Lombardi, O\'Sullivan, Svatos, Kaberle

4) Connolly, O\'Sullivan, Kaberle.....You have to take O\'Sullivan and Kaberle thats pretty obvious, and I\'d go with connolly. He\'s only 26 and has good potential offensively, you must have seen some of his dangles in the playoffs too, not bad

Thanks. I was thinking about Sakic, then thinking about Langkow and kaberle. I really like Connolly, just he is pretty brittle.

Sakic, Lombardi, O\'Sullivan gets my vote. It sucks to give up a great D-man in Kaberle though. I\'m not huge on Lombardi, but there is upside. I don\'t think you can afford to pass up the offense of the Avs or the rebuilding Kings franchise.

I should ask...assuming you have positional requirements...how many D-men do you need to have? What are the odds of replenishing this position in your draft? I could change my mind...

I like Sakic/Lombardi/O\'Sullivan. You have a lot of young guys on your team who you\'ll need to protect later, and having one year with Sakic would be good because he\'ll be solid and then you can let him go/trade him away and not have him take up a keeper spot as he ages. I\'m not too high on Lombardi, but O\'Sullivan will come around and be a solid 2nd-liner for LA.

That being said, I\'m a huge fan of the Legwand/O\'Sullivan/Kaberle option, and here\'s why. O\'Sullivan, as mentioned above, has a good future ahead of him. Kaberle is producing now and will be a great addition to your defense. Legwand will be playing center on a top line that will likely include Radulov and Erat. A playmaking center with 2 snipers on his wings can be dangerous. I\'m sure you\'re aware of the local huff and puff about Radulov\'s talent, I think that Legwand centering him makes him that much more valuable.
