Default Question for a trade offer

I really want Getzlaf and I\'ve been offered Getzlaf, Tkachuk and Meszaros for Nash, Demitra and Vlasic. Am I giving away too for him or should I take it and run?
Where does Getzlaf fit in? Superstar or middle rounds?

Is it a keeper league or one season pool? H2H or rotiserre? What is the points structure (any extra for dmen? +/- included)??

That info will help people answer your question.

sorry for the missing info.

Keeper league for 4 years and this is the 2nd year. 1 point for goal and assist. 2 for GWG. +/- is 1 point and that\'s about it. 1 point for D man GWG.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Based no your other post, I understand how your league works and I wouldn\'t take this deal. At first it looked good, but after going thru thier stats I think you getting a raw deal. Tkachuk is 35 coming of a bad season I would have to say he dwindaling down i would give him a 55 point ceiling. Compare him to Demitra 32, and hoping playing with a healty Gaborik I say 60+ points. Now Vlasic and Meszaros both young Mezzzy 40 point ceiling and I give Vlasic 30 point minimun he going to get more ice time I see him in the long run putting up more points. Now it depends how much you like Getzlaf cause I personaliy like him more than Nash but the stats are Nashs side. Nash will put up easily 30 goals and Hitchcock is on him to become more of a complete player, It his 5th season or break out season and he is only 23 year old , if he doesn\'t put up over 70 points it would be a major disapointment. Now Getzlaf is 22 had a sick playoff, and solidt sophmore season yet I can see him being a 80 maybe in 90 point player but not for a while, I would stick with Nash this season you don\'t want to drop a player going into thier breakout season

Grover has made some good points. Its hard to give up on Nash when he has had such hard luck the past few seasons. I think Nash will come out of this and be a star again. But then on the other hand its hard to give up a chance to get Getzlaf..

And between Tkachuk and Demitra, I would want Demitra, younger and better points wise..

I think Nash is still a safer pick than Getzlaf right now and his value may be higher at this moment. Getzlaf\'s teammates are better though which will inflate his stats. I woudln\'t throw in both Demitra and Vlasic for Tkachuk and Meszaros because you lose on both of them (IMHO). Maybe you counter with one of them, but not two or counter with you getting the better end of the other counter.

Getzlaf for Nash I might do, but losing Meszaros and Demitra for Tkachuk and Vlasik makes it a bad deal for you.

If you strip away everything and just look at Getzlaf <-> Nash

Getzlaf has played in 2 NHL seasons/2 NHL playoffs and is 22 years old

Nash has played in 4 NHL seasons/0 NHL playoffs and is 24 years old

Getlaf Scored 58 points last year
Nash\'s Career high is 57 points

Now, Getzlaf has shown that he is a superstar in the making, and with his supporting cast, it is almost a sure thing that he will make it there. Nash on the other hand, showed us superstar potential, but has simply not done anything with that. REALLY GREAT players simply get it done, and nash has spent a long time trying to get it done, but to be honest i just dont see it. I doubt he will ever reach the potential that was heaped upon him when he broke into the league.
That being said, i would say take getzlaf as you are getting the best player in the deal.
