Default Richards/Horton

Good question for you guys.

In a keeper in which goals give two points, how would you value Nathan Horton versus Brad Richards ? I own Brad, I really like the guy, but Horton seems like he\'s on the rise and could easily become a 40 goal scorer. I still feel Brad can bounce back, but I still have trouble with the \"here\'s an improvement, man, we give you Hlavac and Ouellet\" factor in Tampa.

I feel that I could also get a decent pick with Horton, but I\'m still not sure if it\'s worth it.

Waiting for your opinions.

Thanks.

Because it\'s a keeper league and goals are so much more valuable I\'d go with Horton easily.

you really didnt give a full detail of your points structure. So its hard to make an accurate assessment. Also do you play \"forwards\" or \"centre\'s and wingers\"? Assuming you have a standard pool setup for points with 2 and 1 for an assist then horton in my opinion will be better than richards not only this year but in years do come. Brad just doesnt score enough.

Horton looks to be 35 g 35 a this year and for brad to get to that point level he\'d need to put in 85. If you can get a pick with this then it looks to me like you should do it. But i\'d reserve judgement till i find out what your position rules are and what your full point rules are.

Hello Leaftodd,

Forwards only. No distinction between centers and wngers. 2 points a goal, 1 an assist : only thing that matters here.

Yeah, I admit it is interesting, I\'m still thinking about this...

Any other opinions ?
