Find themselves conflicted about posting you\'re true opinion\'s here cause you know all the other guys in your pool read this?

Every time i drag out the truth of my feelings i just know that the other guys are seeing it and storing it up to use againts me later on. The consolation is that i check it more frequently so i get the info first.

How do you all deal with the fact that the competition uses dobber like the nexus of all hockey info?

I hate to say it, but I definitely hold back on some of my thoughts or inclinations because of that. I am still toying with asking a question regarding draft strategy for fear of including too much info and sort of waving a red flag, like \"here I am\".

I guess the thing is that no one will know your final response to a trade or draft until you actually announce it, but you just don\'t want to tip your hand too much.

Will probably ask my questions anyway eventually I suppose.

You guys haven\'t been let in on the Dobber Quality Circles concept yet? Kinda goes like this - you find a group of 10 to 15 guys on the site who are not in your league. You share contact info (IM, email, whatever) so you can use these guys as sounding boards or independent analysts for things you are thinking about. If a broader opinion is desirable, you get one of your circle buddies to post it as his own, so that guys in your league don\'t really know it\'s coming from you. Then you plant false or erroneous posts about what you are thinking about doing and ask for advice.

You also give your circle buddies the user ID for folks you know on Dobber who are in your league and ask them to spy for you (watch for their posts).

The alternative is to suck back a Keith\'s and enjoy the ride.

That works Butch - but make sure you leak out the fact that the stuff you are posting here is red herring material and then you can go back to using the site straight up - they really don\'t catch on until near the end of the season.
