Well oncle sign up Kopitar and with the 4th pick take the best guy that will help you this year since you are just going to drop him next year. And then next year package up the player you chose with the 4th pick and Gaborik and see what you can get for that.. And if nothing good comes about then you still have Iggy, Spezza, Richards, Radulov, and Kopitar.
If you get a great player for say Gaborik and say Camallerri, maybe someone like Heatley or Hossa then you will have to do something with Richards or maybe even Iggy.. You have alot of options, you have some great players, but you can always get better.. Zorro..

I suspected as much about your league when I suggested who I did. Don\'t see Kopitar outpointing the other 4 on your list this year quite frankly. He is a comer and if you envision protecting a player for next year off this list then sure go with him - I would be grabbing Gagne and Cheech with those first two with the guys you have in the barn now.

I\'m going with the majority :
1-Kopitar is a no-brainer with LA (long term) 2-Gagne (look what he doesn\'t without anyone last year) 3-Cammalleri (see #1) 4-Stastny (not sure yet) 5-Cheechoo (he scare me a little bit)

All great keeper pool guys, but Gagne is the best player and will be for the next 5 years

Just to update.I had my draft and I think I did pretty well.
With my 3 first round picks I got Simon Gagne,Jonathan Cheechoo and was suprised to see Scott Gomez available.I also lucked out because I managed to land Anze Kopitar in the Second round. My big Problem will be next year Who to keep I can only keep 5 of these players. Jarome Iginla Jason Spezza Marian Gaborik Brad Richards Alexander Radulov Simon Gagne Jonathan Cheechoo Scott Gomez Brian Gionta Anze Kopitar |

Don\'t worry about who you\'ll be protecting now... Just wait and see how the numbers crunch. Lots of possibilities will come into consideration depending on which place you\'ll be down the stretch...
If you\'re in first place by far late in the season, then you can trade one of the big guys you don\'t think you\'ll protect for picks to a team with a \"shitty protect list\". Just wait it out...
