I am also an owner of Kessel however I think the potential and the ability of Kane is more than Kessel. Also, Kane will most likely begin with a bigger role in CHI than Kessel did in BOS.
Personally, I would take Kane over Kessel if I had the chance. I am only expecting 50-55 points from Kessel this year while Kane could possibly get that amount in his rookie year.

I prefer Kessel in this case.
If Kane is abel to make the Hawks at 160 lbs, then he has a prayer at 50 points. Kane has more upside than Kessel in my opinion, but also more risk in that he may not crack the roster right away. Kane will carry the \"too small\" label until he can prove otherwise. Could be another Brule. Kessel was very good for Team USA at the World Championships. He\'s set to take another step this year. Too much of a risk for me to take Kane. I\'d feel comfortable giving up some upside for security in this case.

I dont think you can really go wrong with either choice because their general upside for total points (which is how you score your league)seem to be in the same neighbourhood

I\'d take Kane and not look back. I\'ve never been a huge Kessel fan, and I expect Kane to adapt to the pro game pretty quickly.

I really think the Hawks hit the jackpot with Toews though .He has the ability to be to the Hawks what Sakic and Yzerman are/were to their teams-- which is a very strong leader who leaves it all on the ice and becomes the face of the franchise for many ,many years.Kane and the rest of the young hawks will only benefit from having Toews on this team in more ways than 1
