In a 12 team H2H keeper league, and can keep 12 of these:
C: Briere, Savard, Gomez, H.Sedin, Arnott, Legwand, Connolly LW: Kovalchuk, Nagy, Naslund RW: Hemsky, Radulov, Satan, Bochenski D: Gonchar, Liles, Redden G: Fleury, DiPietro, Hasek I\'m pretty set on Briere, Savard, Kovalchuk, Hemsky, Radulov, Gonchar, Liles, Redden, Fleury, and DiPietro. I think the last 2 have to be Gomez and Sedin. Any other advice? My only concern is that gives me 4 C and only 1 LW. In Yahoo, lots of players qualify as C, but very few at LW. Even in this deep league (12 teams * 30 players), there are usually some decent C on the FA list, but LW are very scarce. |

Hello and welcome cooperg, as always smoothfun.
You consider that Gomez and Sedin should be your last two choices to complete your protection list of 12 players. Your concern was 4 centres and 1 left wing. Gomez had 60 points last year. Nagy had 55 points last year, in Dallas. This year Nagy is in L.A. His career has just taken a boost. I would drop Gomez from your list and add Nagy. He is going to have a great year. Something for you to consider. |

Thanks for the comments.
I\'m keeping both Dipietro and Fleury. I would like to hang onto Nagy as well, because he\'s got lots of potential and is a LW. If Gomez stayed with the Devils I would have dropped him, but on the rangers, I think he\'ll get 80+ points. I\'d expect similar points from Sedin, and I don\'t know what to expect from Nagy (65 points?). I drafted him early last year, expecting big things and was disapointed. I would much rather keep a second LW over a 4th C though, and if I expected only 10 points between them, I\'d take Nagy. I\'ve also tried to trade one of these for a draft pick upgrade, but not found any takers. |

I would keep Gomez and Sedin...I am not sold on Nagy, even if he is with LA.

So thats one vote for Sedin and Nagy, one for Gomez and Nagy, and one for Sedin and Gomez.
No wonder I\'m undecided.

Dobber is all over this one - Sedin will get his PPG - Gomez will be close regardless but with a much higher upside. I think that he also inferred that Nagy is the right keeper over Sedin - which I would do in a heartbeat looking at your team. Nagy played last year with the Phoenix No Stars and then went to the Dallas D Stars (read no offence) - have you looked at the pistols he will be playing with in LA? If Nagy doesn\'t break 75 points I promise to eat my Dobber Jockeys (I am Beta testing them - soon to be on sale in the Dobber shop).
Have you considered offering Sedin and Kovalchuk for Ovechkin? Or Sedin and Nagy for Gagne? Post edited by: Shoeless, at: 2007/08/06 12:53

Shoeless I hope you are very hungry the day you have to chomp down those jockeys. Nagy will not get over 75 points this season. Cammalerri only got 80 last year and he played all the time.
I would take Gomez and Sedin... But the trade of Sedin and Nagy for Gagne would be interesting..

Hello again cooperg \'et al\':
Zorro: I am surprised with you. In another post you wanted to take Ray Whitney with the 20th pick in a draft. Now you pull another \'rabbit\' and come up with Gagne. Where is the consistancy buddy? lol. :P |
