What kind of players are available in your rookie draft? That will tell me a lot more about whether to accept this deal.

If you can hold off a few more days it might be good as well since finding out about the Penner situation might shed some light on Scotty\'s retirement situation as well.

Sorry didnt make it clear.... Our Rookie draft is the same players that have been choosen from this years 07 draft....

And i agree.... i should wait until the penner contract is done....

But im thinking if i wait to long Scott retires.... and im left with nothing....

Do you have d-men to burn? If so, do the deal, you could get espo or cherry. If not...it would depend on what else you can do. Can you grab a middle of the road dman in a seperate deal so that you can make this deal happen? Do you need a young forward even?

Wait so you\'re the one GETTING Niedermayer in this deal then?

I\'m a little slow on the uptake tonight. Played 1 too many games of bump I guess.

I\'d do the deal. Timmonen is a STUD on the blue line... As long as D value is half decent take it. If Forwards are worth a lot more based on depth then I guess keep the pick as Dobber says and try and scoop Espo or Cherapanov... But if D has good value in the pool, take Timmonen.

Niedermayer is retiring for sure, he already said he was going to and Burke just asked him to wait a few months just in case he changed his mind... which was a desparation move from a GM trying to save his job..:woohoo: Well not really but it\'s really just wishful thinking from Burkey.

I always thought you were getting Timmo. so is Timmo worth an Espo or Cherry? I think that is the crux - bet on Neids retiring.
