Why wasnt Tavares taken last year

Take him and sit on him for a few years. He\'s worth the wait.

Grab Tavares for sure. He will be well worth it in the long run.

If you can pick Tavares, and he\'s available, jump oh him and covet him like you would your neighbours wife if he was married to (insert hottie here). Look at Tavares\' numbers they\'re not far off from a kid named Sidney who was pretty highly thought of, not sure what happened to him. And yes he\'s \'09 draft, the NHL basically came out and said they wouldnt let him enter early, showing balls the OHL didnt have.

well i guess tavaras it is, i knew the kid was good but i wasnt sure how good he would be. It sounds like most think he is on the crosby level. its unfair to compare people to him but thats the feeling i get

Tavarez first for sure, Stamkos is a very good choice too. If you need Dmen and if you have other picks I would even try Viktor Hedman (2009 draft)This guy is huge, mobile but he\'s only 16 (and 6`5)time will tell.
