One of these teams is mine, if you\'ve read other posts of mine its not hard to figure out, but just so no one feels they should be easy on me I wont tell you which.
Team A Iginla, vanek, Sedin, Sedin, Tanguay, Kopitar, Cammalleri, E. Staal, Visnovsky, Brodeur, Luongo Team B Crosby, Ovechkin, Jagr, Heatley, J. Staal, Kessel, Ry. Whitney, Phaneuf, Fleury Team C Spezza, Marleau, B. Richards, O. Jokinen, Radulov, Afinogenov, Kovalchuk, Bouwmeester, Br. Campbell, Lundqvist, Turco, Biron I\'m pretty sure team B wins in the future that seems obvious all things being equal. I wanna know who wins now. It\'s a Roto league with 12 teams, these are the ones that I feel are best. Scoring Categories: Goals, Assists, +/-, PIMs, PPG, PPA, SHP, GWG, Wins, Saves, GAA, Shut-outs Each team gets 25 players during the year. We must dress 4C, 4RW, 4LW, 5D, 1Util, 2G. Each roster position gets 82 games. We have a 15 Round draft coming up as well as a rookie draft. You need not know about who has what picks cause there\'s no way to tell who\'ll be drafted. I\'d go team B, now and future. Once Jagr is done Staal and Kessel will fill the void..

Team A is very good. Having arguably the top two goalies in the league (at least two of the top 4) really strengthens and strong forward group.
However, all that fire power at forward on Team B is overwhelming. Plus Whitney and Phaneuf. They play offense first hockey in Pittsburgh so, like Barasso, Fleury may never have the top 5 GAA and SV%, but he\'ll be good and should rack up wins. Gotta go with Team B. This year less of an edge, but in the future the edge grows. Post edited by: chiro, at: 2007/07/25 01:45

Team B. You will be weaker on goaltending but the firepower more than makes up for it...

I added a player to team C, I forgot to include Radulov the first time. Although judging by the responses I dont think it\'ll make a difference.

The goalies on Team A provide a huge lead in Roto, it\'s a ridiculous format to let 2 players on a team give you such an edge... I don\'t like the format, because as long as team A gets 2nd or third in the point cats they win the pool... So yeah, Team A gets a huge jump from their goalies and then they look to be 2nd behind team B in a bunch of the other point categories... so I\'m going with team A as the roto winner.
But overall in other pool formats Team B is better.

My concern with Team A is the multiple players on Vancouver and L.A. If either team has a \'bad run\' you are going to fall on \'hard times\'.
Personally, I like the look of Team C. There is depth and it is spread amongst the teams. Post edited by: hockeylifer, at: 2007/07/25 11:10 |

Team B has just way to much offensive power to loss. Although Team A has probably the two best goalies, in your league there are only 4 goalies stats categories compared to 8 forward categories.
Personally, Team B is the winner

I would go with team A, for the same reason as stated earlier. FOr the next 4 years (until brodeur retires) this team will realistically win all, or come 2nd in maybe 1 goalie category. Because of this, it only needs to really come top 3 in the offensive categories, and it could even win a category +/-.

I don\'t know. Team B listed here has 2 less players than Team A and 3 less than team C. Seems that the other two maybe able to make up for slightly lesser quality players with a better balanced attack.
Plus, as mentioned, with the roto and 4 of 12 categories goalie categories both team A and C have a big advantage to team B.
