Several teams passed on Kopitar. I\'m surprised the Canucks didn\'t take Marc Staal (but Bourdon\'s mobility was off the charts. That is the key for him, if he can get that back he will be an elite, top pairing guy).

Actually I\'m not really that down on the Bourdon thing but as brian pointed out its the D man development hitch.. years down the road. I thot Centre was a more pressing need and Kopitar was a great fit there.

Well us Canuck fans just soldier on...I been there since the beginning and I\'ll go down with my ship. Hopefully the time will come when I see the cup get hoisted...before I croak.
