Default Will Kipper get it together this year?

Transactions lock soon before the H2H playoffs in my league, and I'm wondering if I should be grabbing another back up instead of Kipper. The only other viable option is Nabokov.

So basically, for the rest of the year Kipper or Nabokov?

Oh geez... I wouldn't feel too confident in Kipper or Nabi. If I was forced to make a call today I would go with the Islanders. With Tavares they are on the up, 3 points out of a playoff spot while the Flames have been on the decline and are dipping their feet in worst record territory. Now if Kipper gets traded, then I would want Kipper

Between the two, I'll take Nabokov. He is a decent goalie and the Islanders are a better team. Kipper is just not trustworthy this year, it pains me to admit.

Hiller is available too, now that I've had a better look, but I'd be a bit concerned about Fasth stealing starts. Other options are Jake Allen and Lehner, but not sure I can depend on youngsters..

It's funny, with my scoring settings saves are pretty heavily weighted, and I thought for sure Kipper was a safe bet heading into this season.

I am having the same issue. My top two goalies are Rask and Brodeur. But I have to make up a bunch of goalie starts before the end of the year. If Hiller was an option, I would take it in a second.

My options are backups, Allen, Vokoun, Scrivens, Khudobin, Bernier, Lehner...

Drop Kipper and cycle through the backups? Or do I wait until the NHL trade deadline to see if he gets moved to a contender?

I like Hiller right now... While Fasth will probably steal starts for the rest of the year, I think Hiller is enforcing that is the Ducks true #1 and will get 2/3rds of the games for the rest of the season. Considering the amount of wins the Ducks pile up, that's still nothing to sneeze at...

Can we discuss what to do with Kipper a little more.

Is he an outright drop now?
And if so, are the new kids a better option? (Allen, Lehner, Khudobin...)

Is he worth holding to see if he gets dealt at the deadline?

Or is he worth starting for home games?
The Flames are on a 6 home game winning streak.
