dubnyk got injured tonight and i might need a replacement depending on the severity of his injury. my current goalies are quick and hiller, the choices are:

markstrom (tbl, @bos, nyi)
hedberg (tough week phi, @phi, montreal)
peters
allen
lehner (maybe only 1 game either against @buf or win)
khudobin (either @ott, @pit, or was, @pit)
edmonton backups (not sure if khabi is coming back soon)

i'm leaning towards markstrom but he probably won't win too many games. the only advantage is that i would get a boost in the sa and sv. khudobin should play 2 games this week and maybe have better gaa and sv% but both boston and la do not give up a lot of shots and quick hasn't been playing too well. thanks for the help

If you're looking at a short-term play, I'd go with Khudobin as he clearly plays for the strongest team and should get some looks this week with the condensed schedule combined with his fine play in the backup role.

If you're looking more long-term (whether it be one-year or keeper - not specified), I'd be taking Markstrom despite his rough start.

Bingo! If its a keeper league, take Markstrom. If not, Khudobin is the best play.

thanks for the replies, this is a strange week becuase most teams play tues, thurs, and sat. my opponent has lundy and bob and they both play on those three days and they will most likely play all 3 games. khudobin should get 2 starts just not sure which days, hiller might play every other start and quick has been pretty inconsistent for the majority of the season. i'm most likely going to lose gaa and sv% this week and maybe wins. i was leaning towards markstrom b/c he will face a lot of shots so that maybe i could sneak out a sa and sv victory. i'm not sure which is the best path to take, and now their are reports that dubnyk should be able to start on tues.
