Any reason why he's only played 4 minutes today?

Turned his back on Simmonds and was crushed from behind into the boards. WHich led to Buffalo taking about a bajillion penalty minutes.

Look like a pretty bad hit?

It wasn't like a running charge from behind...but evidently it was enough to keep Ennis out of the game so far. It was from behind and Ennis went pretty hard into the boards.

Tyler Ennis is day-to-day, but no concussion from Sunday's hit. Ville Leino will be game-time decision tomorrow. #Sabres Via @BuffNewsVogl

Tyler Ennis (upper body) will not play Tuesday against the New York Rangers.
Ennis was considered questionable to play after getting hurt Sunday on a hit from Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds. Sabres coach Ron Rolston has said Ennis doesn't have a concussion despite Ennis needing stitches on his forehead. Keep him out of your lineup tonight and we should know more about his status later in the week before the Sabres play the Senators on Saturday. Source: Andrew Gross on Twitter Mar 12 - 11:51 AM

Good news:
The Buffalo Sabres will get Tyler Ennis (head) back on Saturday. Ennis missed Tuesday's game due to the ailment. He has seven goals and 18 points in 26 games this season. Source: Ian Mendes on Twitter Mar 16 - 1:15 PM
