Personally I would gladly give the other guy RNH for Backstrom every day of the week.
Except maybe that special day in-between Sunday and Monday

Salary cap leagues are foreign to me. But in a points only pool, I would take Backstrom over any of those three.

Backstrom is definitely an asset you should be trying to get in your league. He has a very reasonable long term contract that he should outproduce.
I'd probably look to deal one of the oilers youth. In a start 3 forwards each week it seems like it would be rare to start both in a week anyway. Upside for both is probably the same. I might prefer to deal RNH just bc he seems like more of an injury risk due to his build.

For me it would be Yakupov. RNH will be the top center either way, so he'll always get top PP and top minutes. Usually with Hall and Eberle, but who knows, it could be Hall and Yakupov. Either way, long-term, I think he'll be the better bet over Yakupov. However, that said, if anything, it appears you should be looking for a point-scoring Dman, no? Chara has 9 points this year as your 'top' Dman, and the others aren't anything to write home about in a keeper. Obviously D will be harder to acquire, but I'd push hard to get a great scoring Dman. You have good F depth given that you can only start 3 per week. Maybe try to package Spezza into a deal to a team that's out of playoffs? I need help on my thread: http://hockey.dobbersports.com/index...d.php&t=148799 It's a lot to read, but I like to lay out all the details when I can. A simple "Team A wins" or "Team B wins" would do, but I always like hearing opinions. Thanks!

I'd look to move RNH for him first, followed by Yakupov, then the 1st overall, then Seguin. I'd hesitate to move Seguin for him, but probably not for long. The only reason I'd not move the 1st overall for him right now is because the closer you get to the draft the more value it will have. If you try to sell the 1st overall on draft day people will trip over themselves to get huge offers in, but that's only because they are caught up in the draft. The actual value of the 1st overall isn't nearly as high as people make it out to be and I'd move it for Backstrom here.
