I'll be a homer on this one and pick Galchenyuk.

This was tough, but I'm surprised Gally's winning. Personally I feel like Gally could end up the best player from the draft, but for now I've gotta stick with who went #1 overall just 20 games ago. If Yak had been completely struggling then maybe I think about it, but he's been just fine. I especially prefer Yak this year.

Anyone with a brain would take Yaks to win the tourney.
As I said in previous polls, many of those voting in these things don't really put much thought into it. They'll go by current stats or just click whatever so they can see the pretty charts. It is pretty baffling that Gally is winning this one... there must be a lot of Montrealers on this forum.

I took Galch for much of the same reason others did. I think Galch has looked more impressive this year so far, so that takes care of this season counting. Long-term, I can see Galch having a better chance of being a #1 player whereas Yaks has to fight for ice-time with Hall, RNH, Eberle and whoever the Oilers choose #1 again this year.

I wish I could take credit for that drop of lyrical geniusness but unfortunately unintended. Awesome find though haha
