3 assists tonight (2 on the PP). TOI 26:17. Doughty TOI 20:48.
The big lead wasnt until almost midway through the 3rd. Is this a trend? Has Voynov overtaken Doughty fantasy-wise? Honestly, watching LA games, Voynov is now significantly better than Doughty at least offensively. |

Voynov is a beast. I've been saying this starting from last year, and I still stand by it. His defensive presence was solid from the get-go and his offensive play has been getting better with more ice time and trust placed onto him.
He will overtake Doughty at least at the very latest after next season.

I've watched a lot of LA this year, and they seem to be using Voynov in a more offensive capacity (maybe shielding him from the tough defensive assingments) and using Doughty as more of a 2 way guy--kind of like Shatty and Piets in STL
