You are one of only a few that could afford not to grab him.
Only four teams (you & I included) are AT or ABOVE pace for goalie GP.
With two quantity categories (W & SV)... just getting goalie starts is critical towards final standings. The goalie pool in that league is almost completely dry. There's maybe 1 or 2 back-ups in the entire NHL available.

Yeah -I think I am looking at about 36 more games played for goalies if Fasth splits with Hiller and Ward doesn't come back at all - so 12-13 games under-utilized at the end - kinda thought that somewhat improved GAA and SV% might compensate a little for some fall off in W and SV's and wasn't prepared to mess with my roster to go with Peters at the moment - not sure it was the right call but we shall see.

Chip Alexander reported a few days ago they still don't expect Ward to return during the regular season as he's still not close.
