I picked up Ellis, trying to swing him to the Ward owner. I'm comfortable with keeping Ellis for now, even with his horrendous 2012 campaign - he hasn't done terribly this season so far. And Carolina's 12-8-1 so he should be good at least for wins.

I do not see any way this is a Luongo play (for Carolina). Ward is there #1 and I see no way Carolina gives up prospects to manage for 6-8 weeks.

If they go after anyone, it will be a veteran back-up, or someobe who will cost them a lot less. Peters has been very good in the minors, so my guess is they role with Ellis and Peters until Ward is back.
