Default Markstrom vs Bishop

My cats are down below.
I currently possess Bishop.
Not sure how much game time he'll get with Anderson back and Lehner in the mix, but the Sens play a defensive system that I like to have in my goalies.

Markstrom, on the other hand, will probably at least split 50/50 with Clemmensen. He's guarded by the porous FLA D but I can always adjust him to play low-scoring teams like the Kings.
For instance, I would not have played him vs Pit & Philly a week ago.

Who should I take?

Keep Bishop. Sure Markstrom will get more starts than Bishop but how often are you really going to be able to play him? I'd feel comfortable playing Bishop against any team in the East... Markstrom, not so much.

Markstrom is great in a keeper league but for this year I don't think it's close.

Thanks! But now, another option is on the horizon....with Ward injured, Ellis could take the slate.
I'm not sure how good Carolina's defensive game has been...I know Faulk is a stud and they get pretty balanced scoring between their top 2 lines but not much else.

Ellis vs Bishop?

Definitely not Dan Ellis IMO when you have options like Markstrom or Bishop available.

I'd say Markstrom gets more than a 50/50 split with Clemmenson. I think Markstrom gets majority of the games provided he doesn't choke big time.

Any chance you can deal Bishop to the Anderson owner? Try to scare them into buying Bishop as insurance and then grabbing Markstrom?

I would personally prefer to have Markstrom to be honest. Nothing more than a hunch though.

Thank you for your opinion! I see you're a Canucks fan; therefore, you must have good judgement. Nucks brethren unite!
May I ask, why not Ellis? He seems to have done decently this season as a backup after a bad year playing backup at Anaheim.

And I don't think I can deal Bishop...manager with Anderson is one of the 2 inactive people in my league that don't set their rosters. Good idea though, would've done it if this situation wasn't like that.
