Nothing beyond Claude Noel simply saying that "I think he'll be fine" when he was asked about Wheeler.

Wheeler is a tough SOB. He's hardly missed any games in his career. He took a puck to throat last season and was hospitalized and only missed two games. Those are the only games he's missed due to an injury. He'll most likely play in the next game as usual.

Blake Wheeler on the ice and looking fine for #nhljets. Expect him to play tomorrow.

Blake Wheeler blocked a shot in Saturday's loss to Washington and left the game for a little, but said he was fine during Monday's practice.
"I'm good. It turned out to be not as bad as I originally expected," he said. "I drank a lot of milk as a kid and I guess that helped." Coach Claude Noel originally called it a day-to-day situation and termed it as a "deep bone contusion," but it looks like Wheeler will be fine to play Tuesday night against Florida.
