In a 16 team dynasty league. I currently have Ruiz, who had a banner year last year. This year he will start suspend and miss April.

Avila had a down year last year. Do you think he will rebound? In a dynasty league this might be my only opportunity to grab Avila, as if he gets going he will be scooped up and gone. I would have to drop Ruiz to get Avila.

Who would you rather have this year? And the next three years going forward?

If you can get a solid backup to fill in for Ruiz for the first month or so, I'm inclined to go with him. If it means you have to hold onto him for three years however, I'm not so sure, and might go Avila.
