Default Backstrom or Ward?

Rest of the season with cats in the league below, would you rather have Ward or Backstrom?

THanks!

This is a good Q
My gut sez Ward, but im really curious to hear what ppl think of Backstrom .. Hes been declining somewhat, but better this year, and the Wild should be moving towards contende status. Hes only Luongos age, so should have gas in the tank ... What think?

I'm leaning towards Backstrom in a one year. Ward in a keeper. Backstrom seems to be always solid, Ward has been on and off this year. Carolina barely plays defence anyway.

I'd go with Ward. I think he'll have a big second half. He's already showing signs of busting out of his early season slump. And I believe I heard a rumour that Carolina's looking to deal for a vet d.

I'd like to lean Ward too but just looking historically, Backstrom is more consistent and has a better SV% and GAA which is important in my league.

Just a little torn, I think they are about equal.

I'd go with Ward. I believe him to be a better goalie, and I believe the Hurricanes to be a better team than the Wild, also believe that Ward will probably see a little bit more in terms of games played opening him up for more goalie stats.
