I traded Jack Johnson straight up for Kadri at the beginning of the month. Since then...

Actually no. He approached me about JJ and I brought up Kadri. I traded for Matt Fratin before the season began because I saw a lot of potential in him. He and Kadri were starting to click carrying over the chemistry they developed playing together in the AHL and I knew how beneficial it would be to own both of them because odds are if one of them got a point on any given night, the other would too. I mentioned the possibility of Kadri for JJ straight up and he said he was down if I was. I gave it a little bit of thought to make sure it was the right move for me because it would leave me with only 5 dmen but I find they are overrated in H2H pools a lof of the time so I decided to make the move and run with 5 dmen. Needless to say I am very very happy I made the deal. I have a budding superstar in the making with a legitimate sniper playing on his wing who will be playing together for a long time. Booya! I was reading an article recently where Carlyle compared Kadri to Tavares. He said he's not quite there yet but that they have a similar skill set. Effin A!

I believe Bobby Mac mentioned something about this on twitter last night.

Mark Hunter, Kadri's GM in London, mentioned during Kadri's draft year that he thought Kadri deserved to be mentioned in the same conversation of who should go first overall, back when it was a question of Tavares or Duchene.

I don't think I agree (and Bobby Mac said the same) but it's interesting that someone would even mention it.

Kadri's skill is immense. He's probably the most talent player in the organization, save Kessel.
