Default Kane vs Kane

Who's better in my league format?

I'm hesitant to give up E. Kane because he's such a beast with the combination of PIM, SOG and hits but P. Kane's a better scorer and can play C/RW...

I'm out of the race for top this year so the deal would be made with the future in mind. Can E. Kane out point P. Kane next year in addition to all his peripheral stats?

It seems to me that you have plenty of other guys who can produce PIM/Hits so upgrading to Pat would be helpful virtually everywhere else. Sure Evander is gonna shoot more too but not by a huge margin.

There is always the potential that at some point Evander will catch up to Pat in terms of point production but it's hard to argue with how much Pat could help you now.

The big thing for me is that whichever direction you go you'll be able to tailor your draft next season to building around your weaknesses so if you keep Evander then you can draft more point producing players while if you go get Pat then you can draft a few more multi-cat guys.

I'd personally take Pat because he's going to help you more now and then you can just shift your draft strategy next season but I don't think you necessarily lose either way as both are highly productive.

This is a great point. With every team having only 5 keepers there will be a lot of talent come draft time. In past years what does the draft pool look like? Are there more skilled point producing guys or is there more mult cat guys available? The answer to that question should give you an idea what you should do.

My 2 cents: Keep Evander.

Given your cats I'd take Evander but I'm incredibly high on him.

Excellent points here. You have plenty of guys who will generate hits (Cally, Landeskog, Schenn, etc) but your roster is lacking dynamic scoring, short of Giroux.

I think its great to want to have multi-cat studs, which I agree EKane is working his way into, but sometimes you can have too much of a good thing and not enough great things. Pat Kane is a great scorer, something your roster is lacking.

In my opinion, your roster sure could use a Patty Kane to compliment the rest of your roster and give you some much needed balance.
