Would you agree with me on this one, or will he benefit for the next 5years of Tavares pivotal presence, therefore making very decent keeper value?

Boy, you'd sure have to get a lot back for him. He's been proving for quite a while now that he's a little more than JT's wingman.
I'd keep him unless you get an offer that just blows you away.

With the scoring system in your league I'd say Moulson is a very valuable keeper. He's produced more than enough over the past few years to prove he's not some flash in the pan.

I'd be inclined to keep him. As the guys above have said, he's proven he's more than just a lucky guy playing alongside Tavares.
My one concern might be that Moulson has just one year left on his current deal..and who knows where he ends up...but PA Parenteau has shown this year that he also was more than just a lucky running mate to Tavares (14pt/16gms in Colorado), so perhaps that indicates that Moulson might also be okay. |

That of course depends on what the sell high return is. If its Marleau or another aging star player thats always flirting with 30-40 goals then no. Moulson as stated, has really proven himself over the last couple of seasons so the offer has to be really good.

Moulson is the real deal, and so long as he plays with Tavares he's not worth trading, unless you get an offer too good to pass up.

Great inputs. I've received several offers, none are interesting enough to post.
I've seen a few highlight reels and indeed, Moulson seems to always be at the right place right time, which translates his 70plus SOG.

it might not be a bad idea if you think he likely never gets over a point per game again in his career
problem is moulson is a pretty unsexy player so even with how well he is playing now you would be lucky to get value for the player he was coming into this season as for him proving he is more than JTs wingman i am not sure how he has done that |

Moulson is always going to play with JT. He has proven that he is not a one hit wonder. I would hold on to him if I were you.

I'd also hang onto Moulson unless you get an offer that blows your doors off. I had him a few years ago when he first came on the scene on Long Island and dropped him at season's end thinking he was more flash in the pan in order to protect someone else who I can't even remember and may well not even be on my team anymore. Not a week passes where I don't think about that decision at least once as I see him filling the stat sheet (even moreso when he does it against my team in a head-to-head matchup, which seems to happen regularly).
As others have said, having a near (if not completely) permanent grip to riding shotgun with an elite player is a nice place to be. Mouslon ain't sexy and he may very well be leeching off of Tavares' unreal talent to an extent, but he's the kind of player whose cost-to-acquire vs. production ratio wins you championships.
