Wow. I hate Luongo, but his trade value is unchanged. He is a solid number one goalie. Roy, Brodeur, Belfour, Hasek and Lundqvist all had/have bad games at some point. Luongo is a human being, just like those guys.

The Canucks are doing the right thing in letting Luongo play. You can't trade somebody who sits on the bench every game.

I think he's been the best goalie in the league for a few years. I know the consensus is Lundqvist, and people have all but dismissed Brodeur, Price gets overlooked, Lehtonen gets injured, etc. and it's a toss up with the top guys on most nights. Luongo hasn't won a cup, but neither has Lundqvist.

1) Gillis doesn't pick who starts..AV does

2) Why rush??? He is doing whats best for the team...waiting for the right deal...Canucks are in no hurry to trade...The teams that want him will get even more deperate as time goes by...why trade him to the leafs??? So they can make the playoffs?? Why do we care? His arrogance is being justified by Luo's performance so far this season...And Luo has been a class act and there seems to be no locker room issues...so why not wait?

Gillis is doing just what he said.

He is not going to give Lou away and as he stated the Canucks have no problem playing this season with two top goalies.

Feel bad for Lou he had just taken the lead in GAA from Anderson.

The question is do the canucks go all in and trade Schneider for key component in a cup run? Someone like Clarkson?
