Smith's definitely playing to his strengths here.
What are you talking about? He never even did anything!

Meh, just Smith doing his job. He is a great third line guy. If he was playing for the Maple Leafs, he'd be a fan favourite, no question.

I like the fact that Kadri pushed back. He just has to be careful that when he does push back, the other guy doesn't take that as an invitation to drop the gloves. Kadri seems to have a little grit to his game, especially of late, but he should stick to scoring, something he seems to be doing in abundance this season.

I wouldn't have called that a fight. I'd call that a cheap shot from Kadri followed by a few wild turtled punches. The first punch he threw was a sucker punch...no two ways about it.

No doubt. Couldn't agree more about everything you said in this post.

Since we're on the subject, Smith is just doing his job and he's doing it well as some have said.

And on a related note, Don Cherry is a ****ing idiot for his rant on Saturday's Coach's Corner calling out Gunnarson for not 'defending his goalie'. He said Gunnarson should have gotten in the guy's face meanwhile poor Mike Brown had to step in... WTF? Gunnarson played the puck which is what he should be doing and Brown should be getting in the guy's face...that's what they're paid to do ffs.

Best post of the thread. 3rd line agitator agitating and young rookie pushing back saying he won't take it lying down. No story here.

Waste of a thread? It's a funny gif. Not meant to be a story. Sorry if you Leaf fans have no sense of humor.

I agree with Big Ev, I enjoyed the back and forth. I needed an outlet after losing to your crap team.

Sometimes trash talk is all that it is.
