13th place team in the (keeper) league is trading Skinner straight up to the 2nd place team for Jagr. They deny, but this looks collusive. However, both have obviously agreed to the deal, do I have to let it happen?

I dont know how things normally run in your league regarding trades but I cant see any reason why you wouldnt let it go through. If you cant prove theres collusion then so be it.

I dont know why the 2nd place team would want to acquire Skinner right now anyways considering he is now out again with another concussion. If anything, this hurts the guy in 2nd place today more then it does help him.

Appreciate the feedback, guys. Ya, the trade's happening in that league, there are 14 teams, so team 13 is nearly out of it he's so far down and team 2 is on a nice roll, though locked in a tough game this week.

Even if both guys were healthy, and they're not, I wouldn't have a problem with Jagr for Skinner. How is this trade a problem?

yeah this deal is just weird i mean if you figure an average of 3 forward keepers per team one would think that the 2nd place team would be dumping a pretty good forward if not two to keep a guy who is concussed yet again and doesnt bring much to your extended cats other than maybe faceoffs

I'm with the others. I don't see a problem. You have two good players on opposite ends of their career. Both have health issues as well. If they managed to stay healthy, I could see their point totals being similar.

If Skinner is not a potential keeper on either team, I see no problem with this deal (becomes more like a 1 year deal)... If he is though...

he should be a potential keeper on both teams

thing is he should be more so on the team that traded him than the team that acquired him

but at the same time it makes less sense for a competing team to trade a producing player for an injured one in such a small keeper circumstance and that player not be karlsson or crosby malkin etc

maybe the team that got him is a huge canes fan
