Like league in sig (minus blocks)

short/long term?

JVR will have to work pretty hard to get out of Toronto's top-6 and is developing some pretty good chemistry with Kessel right now.

Marchand on the other hand is on a fairly consistent Bruins team and has a spot on Seguin's line.

Both seem to be in pretty good positions at the moment. I could use a little more point production also.

Depends on team needs. I like JVR's points upside better but he probably won't come close to Marchand in peripherals (PIM, HITS). Hoever hits and PIMS are easier to replace on the wire.

I'd have a hard time passing on JVR. He has little to no competition pushing him for his minutes and if/when Toronto finally lands a 1st line C he could get a real bump

JVR, it looks like his potential is finally coming to fruition, now that he's with the Leafs. At this point I'd rather have JVR now, and in the future.
