I, like so many others am at the end of my rope with Bryz. I'm also a little disenchanted with ole Doughty to date.

Is this offer way off base for me (considering who I have left at D and G?

His Fastb, Hiller and Markov?

I'm within striking distance and I'd still be left with Karlsson, Edler, OEL and either Markov or Streit or B. Smith as my 4th D for next year.

And tenders of Halak...either Hiller or fasth (whoever wins the job) and maybe Bernier if he gets moved to.a.favorable location? ( we keep 2 goalies but can keep a third if we use. Util spot.

I think you are selling far too low on the Dough Boy. I don't think he puts up numbers anything like that one great season again, or at least certainly not soon but this move strikes me as a bit desperate. The sample size here is still small but I wouldn't be in such a hurry to move any of the above parties or at least not without getting quality keepers in return.

If you want to move Bryz and Dough Boy then do it in a deal that lands you a legit #1 goalie rather than playing the tandem game.

I don't like the deal. Bryzgalov should be close in wins to the combined effort of both Fasth and Hiller from here on out, at least that's how I see things playing out. Backstrom is a solid add as well. My thinking is that the tandem of Bryzgalov and Backstrom should definitely be better than the idea of havig the handcuffed Hiller and Fasth combination. I also prefer Doughty over Markov, and I would never trade Doughty straight up for Markov. You are selling low, and thus you are getting poor value. This is not a trade you should make.

Congrats....this was a test. And you both passed.

Well...more of a test for me....and Metal...you pegged me...I was wallowing in self despair last night...and that alone was fueling my creative juices...but your words coupled with Fasth's expected (fall from glory last night...another snap judgement) Helped give the boost I needed to Do Nothing.

Tough part for me...over the past 3days my team put up 213 fan points and jumped me from 8th to 80 points out of 3rd...where the money starts. And Bryz accounted for none of those points...intact he cost me the chance to earn 12 more points in that time. All done with my skaters and Halak/Backstrom.

Which is why I felt I could move him/them and take a shot.

I was also looking at the Anderson/Bishop tandem...but that is part os a much more substantial trade (pie in The sky) offer where I'm also sending out Tavares, Doughty and Marleau in an effort toffee Crosby from the grips of the 5th place team.

End of day...I anticipate no change for me. And maybe that's the best thing. M Bryz holds little value in my circle of peers. Best to hold on...sit him and wait for last season's late break for Bryz.
