So I just made a trade where I acquired Spezza, I had to wait the two trade clearance time. But now that he is actually on my roster and I it wont let me put him on the IR. Does anyone know anything about this or have experience this before. Is there some sorta time frame he needs to be on my roster before it allows me to move him into the IR?

There very well could be a glitch with Yahoo! right now.
I was just on one league where Dubinsky shows up with the red IR and I couldn't move him to an IR spot... only BN.

I've never had that problem.
So it might not just be you.

Is your IR full? I know in our league there are limited IR spots.

Too many leagues this year... I think I own every player somewhere.

I am experiencing the same thing with Franzen now and I've had him all season. I currently have Hornqvist sitting in the IR slot, but when I activate him, I can't move Franzen to the IR slot. I can't even swap Wheeler for Franzen in my lineup, as it tells me I have an internal roster error.

its probably a glitch or a max ir spots used up. if you contact your commish ii think he can put any of your players on ir.

Having the same issue ... Must be a glitch in the system. The app actually shut down when I tried changing on that as well

Ok so it seems this is actually a Yahoo issue and not just me personally having this issue.

It cant be that my is full we get two and I have no one on there as of right now.

I hope Yahoo fixes this soon, Spezza is taking up a valuable roster spot right now.

For those who were also having this same issue, I found a fix. I change it to classic not drag and drop. It seem to work by doing this. Problem solved.
