Any guesses on how long he'll be out? Is the concussion severe?

The hit itself was more coincidence than devastating but it did shake him up. My guess is a couple of weeks, as STL has no reason to rush him.

Yea. Those r the worst. Walked right into it but didn't feel him comin at all. 3 weeks minimum. His brain got rockeddd

Guess there are no updates so far but if anyone has any news on him, would love to hear it.

He had a concussion in the KHL already, should this be a warning sign?

tarasenko didn't have a concussion in the khl.
he was held out a couple of days but passed all baseline testing
the media got caught up with the concussion part but failed to
give the passing part the same attention.
not that it means much right now...

Vladimir Tarasenko (concussion) has been working out on an exercise bike but is still not skating.
It's good news that Tarasenko is able to work out on a bike and it should not be too long before he returns to the ice barring any setbacks. He has been out almost two weeks and there is no current timetable for his return. He has six goals and 12 points in 17 games and was one of the top rookies in the NHL before his injury.
