I thought it was an innocent play on both sides....Tarasenko got the puck and was turning to move the puck up ice and the Avs player made a perfectly legit check...did he time it to blindside Tarasenko? I do not think so, but I would not fault Tarasenko for turning up ice either, thats what any player would have done in that situation
