Dan Garadi or Ryan Mcdonagh. Garadi this year FPTS is 35 Mcdonagh is 27.
Last year Garadi had 214 FPTS and Mcdonagh had 213 FPTS . Who is the better d going forward for the rest of this year? Last year in my league format they where 19th, 20th in d FPTS . Thanks

Girardi for me too. He's getting better offensive opportunity and, while close right now with McDonagh, is always near the top of the league in blocks and typically throws more hits per game than he has done so far this season. I could very well see his current per game averages in those cats going up a bit over the remainder of the season. I'm less confident that McDonagh's pace will increase from here on out.

i agree with everything being said already. my league has similar format and these guys are projected to be within 10-15 fantasy points of each other with Girardi having the slight edge overall. i would give PIMs to McDonagh and HITs and BS to Girardi...everything else could go either way.

not sure either are a bad choice for this year, but it seems like Girardi is poised to get the better opps. good luck.

that is just how it goes sometimes. usually, when i have a guy in a slump i send out trade feelers to the other owners in the league...that usually quates to that particular player snapping out of the slump.

and then there are the times that i drop or trade a slumping guy only to see them come alive (for instance my JVR for Sharp deal). not that acquiring Sharp was all that bad but geesh, JVR is playing pretty damn well right about now.

Paul Martin is not a bad pickup for the time being. Not sure he is a long term solution though.
