he is offering it to me. he is a huge habs fan and I am a huge oiler fan. I already have Schultz, Gagner, and Yakupov..and they are doing me just fine. it would be stupid to have SEVEN oilers....right?!

my team is below....and I don't think I should do this trade. talk me into it if I am blind. thanks for the advice or support

Plus Price is on FIRE ... not worth it to give him up and get Dubnyk in return. You need to spread out your players. You also dont want to give up Subban and get a bunch of forwards in return, you'll be short.

Stay put, and enjoy half the Oilers instead of the entire team

Without knowing the number of teams in your league, I would suggest a pass. On paper it looks great but you already have a strong offensive core and you only serve to weaken an exceptional goaltender crew. Moreover, you would moderately weaken your defense, while only measurably improving your net offense. On top of everything, I would be reluctant to go so unbalanced with the distribution of your team.

Definitely a fair offer, but I would probably pass. Perhaps a compromise for both of you might involve a one-for-one scenario - much less risky.

Not so fast...let's look beyond this trade.

IMO...Hall, Eberle and RNH are better players than Max P and Subban (hold more value) and while losing Price would sting, Duby has been playing admirably considering the learning curve of this team. You have to ask your self...are you happy with Shutz and Yak as your only Oilers?

Personally...IF I TOOK THE DEAL...I'd definitely keep Hall and then look to flip Eberle and RNH. Personally I feel this guy is giving up more with the Oiler's leaving than what he's getting back in Habs.

Depends on how active and crafty you are as a Fantasy GM. I know in my league...Eberle owner has turned down offers which included NEAL or Marleau or even Bryz. May not be accurate, but if you where looking to move Eberle...bait the hook and see what you get. You just may find that pulling this trigger allows other opportunities to fall in your lap and collect early on the Oiler Dividends.

that definitely puts most of your eggs in one basket but there are some substantial offensive upgrades for you there

yeah it would suck losing price but you have rinne still

i would certainly be tempted and can see good reasons to go either way

both teams are filthy btw what is this an 8 team league

I'd do it and trade for a 3rd goalie somewhere else.
