From what I understand from the game sheet, there has been a very severe injury to a player after a boading incedent...

Wade MacLeod was hit from behind by Brandon Manning...

Apperently Wade his the glass face first, got up and suffered what appears to be a seizure on the ice on his way to the bench...

Just read on a Falcons forum that the player is now stable and alert and expected to be okay. Sketchy stuff

Its now been discoverd that Wade MacLeod has a 'benign mass' (tumor) in his brain...

Essentially the incedent was an accident waiting to happen...

The hit it self was a good little boarding hit, but wasn't as viscious as first expected from looking at the video, his head hit the glass and was enough to deactivate his brain functions causing the seizure...

Had the hit not happened it would be unlikely to have been discovered at this stage... They will now be analizing what exactly is going on with the tumor, obviously if its possibly cancer causing, and treatment options...
