Bolts' Salo Injured Tuesday

News: Sami Salo suffered a lower-body injury during Tuesday's loss to Buffalo and didn't return, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Analysis: If Sami Salo didn't go to the locker room with the rest of his teammates during each intermission, we're convinced he'd get hurt on a daily basis in Zamboni incidents as well as errant attempts by the guy in Level 300 trying to win a year's worth of free oil changes shooting from center ice on an empty net. General manager Steve Yzerman says Salo's current ailment is "nothing major," but the guy who checks in with a solid eight points in 19 games to date remains a permanent risk for missed action in any given season.
