Default Another Who To Keep! Pick 5

H2H, weekly points league moving to CBS this year from Yahoo. We cover a LOT of cats. Pick 5 keepers from this list please and thank you!

Bautista (339pts, 332AB's)
Fielder (555pts)
Harper (448pts)
Granderson (534pts)
Wright (520pts)
Greinke (461pts)
Scherzer (455pts)
Latos (429pts)
Rodney (493pts)

Pitching is pretty huge in this league as we start 5 SP's a week, but right now I'm assuming this is the list:

1. Bautista
2. Fielder
3. Harper
4. Wright
5. Greinke

Make a case for Granderson or anyone else over Bautista if you can

Yap. Thatz who i would keep.

(i have Harper and prince in my keeper league).

Pitching is always huge. If ya want, try and do a huge deal to get one more stud pitcher, then keep grandy.

You have a solid 5. Nice job.

That's a good 5 for sure! Probably the 5 I'd keep but my only concern is Joey bats wrist! We all know how violently that guy swings at fastballs so what happens if he blows it out again? In a jays fan so I hope doesn't but what about shopping Jose and a latos or shertzer together to a weaker team to try to kand a young kershaw or even strausburg? Even if Jose is healthy and has a good year like he should he is 32 years old and good OF are easier to find these days. I'm not saying that your 5 aren't really really good I myself would most likely see if there's an option out there to trade up using one of your 5 and one if those other great just out of 5 guys.

Maybe I'm just being silly since I'm still seeing his name in top 10 hitter ranks but I guess it's a chance either way.

Nope I don't think you're out of line, that was my concern too. Joey Bats has certainly fallen in quite a few rankings lists.

Then look for a weak team and dangle him and a borderline non keep of yours for a really young, proven stud arm!

I like the 5 you have. Gives you two solid CI's, OF's and a SP to build your team around.

that list screams trade up. Even assuming a 10 team league, the top 50 are kept, you have a few no brainers (like harper), but you have a lot of good but not great options.

I would be looking to swap granderson, wright, grienke for a real top 20 player. You may find a Kershaw owner willing to do granderson and grienke for him
