I would go for it. Try to negotiate a lower pick coming back your way as part of the deal if you can, but Bogo would be a solid addition to your squad long-term, especially in a multi-cat format.

Your team looks strong based on the fact that it is a 20-team league, and Bogo will be at least equal to Miller long-term in your league's format, probably better.

I agree your forwards look a lot stronger than your D. Bogo has potential to become a really valuable player in your format. What kind of player could you get with that 2rounder?

Yeah, this is pretty much how I feel about this. If you can negotiate a lower pick that would be great, but either way I like the deal for you.

Its only players drafted in that years Entry Draft. So 18yo eligible at draft day, and I guess also players that had previously been undrafted (FA signings, ect.)Not to brag but my team is looking strong, and will probably finish high in the standings. So id assume it'd be in the lower 30s of a pick.

So somewhere between pick 35-40 in 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Which would be early 2nd Round actual NHL Entry Draft.

Just curious, what do you guys see as JT Miller's potential value moving forward.

Im really high on the 19 year old and Im having trouble wanting to let go of him. Bogosian is still young and could really strengthen my defensive corp. I like the move but I hate to loose a great young gritty power forward like JT Miller in the process.

Also kind of worried about Bogosian bouncing back. Is it possible he could be a band-aid boy moving forward?

Imo the biggest issue with Bogosian is that he has Enstrom and Buff logging most of the pp minutes. But that could of course change via trade or injuries.
I also like Miller but NYR is pretty stacked team so its really hard to tell where hell end up in the foodchain.

There's always the risk of Bogo becoming a band-aid boy, that's for sure and I would have the same thoughts if I were in your position. But there is an equal risk of Miller not realizing his potential. Recognize that a very small percentage of the players that are hyped as blue-chip prospects actually fulfill their potential.

I say take advantage of this now. Yes, you roll the dice but hey - no risk, no reward!

Have to agree with this - I would make the deal. Hurts losing the pick but you need help on D.

Losing the pick does suck, but I think the Bogosian will help your D.
