So I've just been offered Giroux and Heatley for my Benn and Neal. This is a 9 team, points only, keep 8 league and positions dont matter besides F,D,G. Only other consideration i guess is that i have malkin so neal is a nice fit there... What do you guys say? Pull trigger or?

I love Giroux and really believe he's an ultra elite player, however I see this deal as:
Giroux vs Benn & Neal

Heatley isn't a real hockey player so he doesn't count. Since it's only a 9 team league, half the players on the waiver wire are probably more effective than Heatley right now.

I'd rather have two 80 pt players than one 90 pt player in this case. If it were me, I'd keep Benn and Neal.

Even though Giroux is the best player in the deal, I don't like the deal for you. Heatley is clearly the worst player and while he has relevence for sure, he just isn't at the same level as the other three players involved. Individually Neal and Benn are far greater than Heatley, and neither one of them are very far off from Giroux, and for a single season could both in fact out produce Giroux. I'd be keeping the duo of Neal and Benn.

Amen. Plus, having two studs on one team (Neal, Malkin) is awesome when they combine for a big game. Just makes you feel like a star, getting that combined 3 goals, 4 assists, 7 points action.
