Want to share any love for this kid? I'm pretty sure you said you get to see Sarnia play quite a bit.

51 goals in 58 games!! Yeah, I know people question his skating but common. I remember people saying Tavares had the hands of gold and no wheels.....just sayin

Ya but Tavares has the hands. Boucher does not. Big difference. Boucher doesn't have a skill set that can "create offensive chances". He merely just "finishes" them off....like the best of them too. haha

Jerry d'amigo No
Brendan Ranford I'm leaning towards no
Teddy Bluegar Yes
Patrick Holland Yes
Max Reinhart Mildly yes
Nikita Gusev I hope so, fun to watch but size is working against him
Daniel Catenacci Yes but in a limited role
Kyle Beach Needs to make the jump, No
Jeremy Morin Yes (if he can stay healthy, which is a huge question mark)
Allen York No

Thanks for doing this for everybody
Some tough calls above but a lot of these prospects are considered longterm so it's a guessing game this early in their careers.

Hey Dean,

Thanks for the questions thread.

So, as it stands I own a pick that is looking like the 4th best lottery pick in our prospect draft. Should the status quo prevail and I end up with 4th overall, which way to go? I'm pretty set at D, but after Drouin, MacKinnon and Barkov, is there another forward to take over Jones? Or will his value be such that he'll be worth more than taking someone else?

What would you do?

Oh, points only by the way, and a keeper league.

Hi Dean,

1st off, thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions! Here are mine concerning a few prospects I have :

Adam Pelech : on dobberprospects, it says that Pelech's offensive upside isn't high, but I notice that he has 38pts through 58 games with Erie. Is he finding some hidden potential or is this more of a fluke or due to a good offensive team in general?

Ben Johnson : He seems to have gotten off to a very slow start with Windsor this year, but am I right in assuming that he turned things around and found another gear? Also, what can be expected from him (AHLer, NHL 3-4th liner, ...?)?

Martin Frk : What's his upside? I know he's long term (especially since he's been drafted by Detroit), but does he have top 6 upside? 3rd line?

Oscar Dansk : Please reassure me by telling me that Dansk's stats aren't his fault, that he does a good job in spite of bad team defense and he'll turn out to be a good NHL goalie in a few years...

Thank you so much!
