About to pull the trigger on giving up Doan + Crawford for Seabrook + Halak.

Logic being in a 6 team league there is a far bit of talent on the wire (McDonald, Clarkson, Henrique, Hodgson, etc.) who could out-score Doan, but not as much great D.

Elliot is also available in FA, but I'm not sure if I should drop Howard or Smith (both locked as starters) if the trade goes through.

Stats in sig.

I'm currently leading in PIMs and SOG, but I'm still a little hesitant to give up one of my main contributors to those cats. What do you guys think?

I like getting Halak if you can handcuff him with Elliot, but I wonder if you can do this without moving Crawford. I know he's had consistency issues, but he's playing really well and for a team contending for the President's Trophy this year. Can you get him to accept Howard straight up (especially since Halak is dealing with injury right now)? Maybe toss in Doan if he doesn't bite. Clarkson should replace him quite well. Also, is there anyone you can upgrade Myers for on WW? Given it is a 6 person league, that shouldn't be too hard. Seabrook has nice peripherals, but you don't do BLKS, so I think WW should have someone with comparable stats.

I wouldn't drop Smith, he's rounding into form the last two games.

I think the problem here is I already have 3 capable goalies, so I can't get Elliot with Halak without dropping 1 of them. I'll see if I can get Howard straight up for Halak. Luongo is available, maybe I should just swap Howard with him if I'm going to run with a split goalie situation.
