Anybody know how close Gardiner is?

He's dead space on my roster right now...can't put him on IR.

Not much out there but I could drop him and pick up someone who will fill the hits category.

I could use the hits since my guys hit about as good as NBA players.

There's no need for the Leafs to rush him to the big team, let him dominate the AHL and gain more confidence. He seemed a bit tentative in the cup of coffee he received earlier this season - likely a bit apprehensive in light of the concussion earlier this year in the A.

Leafs aren't going to do anything this year playoff-wise anyway (hope I'm wrong, but it is what it is), and remember that NHL teams don't make personnel decisions based on "fantasy hockey" scenarios.
